Introduction
Litium Scensum is built for high-performance ecommerce solutions. Litium Scensum has a built-in support for scalability. The configuration of hardware and its scalability makes it possible to receive required performance. As customer needs are different, make sure to contact Litium for a setup that fulfills your needs.
The following system requirements provide a recommendation of a basic standard configuration that consists of two web servers and one database server.
Web server
As a standard configuration, Litium Scensum uses two loadbalanced servers for the presentation and business layer. The setup can be scaled in different ways to support your specific requirements.
Software requirements
- Microsoft Server 2008 Web Edition or later
- IIS6 (internet Information Server) or later
- Session server
- .Net Framework 3.5
- Each web server needs a SSL certificate to provide security and data integrity during communication with payment provider.
Hardware requirements
- Processor: minimum Intel Xeon Server processor (2 core) or equivalent
- RAM: mimimum 2 GB, 4-8 GB for larger solutions
- Hard disk: minimum 5 GB free space
Database server
Software requirements
- Microsoft Server 2008 Standard Edition, or later
- SQL Server 2008 Standard Edition, or later
Hardware requirements
- Processor: minimum Intel Xeon Server processor (2 core) or equivalent
- RAM: mimimum 2 GB, 8-12 GB for larger solutions
- Hard disk: minimum 5 GB free space
Client Requirements
Browsing
Litium Scensum supports every major browser; however, the support depends exclusive on the design of the presentation layer.
Administration
Litium Scensum supports the following browsers for administration.
- Internet Explorer 7.0
- Firefox 3.0 (PC and Macintosh)
Requirements for development
The Litium Scensum template engine provides the ability to design templates without any programming involvement.
Developer tools
- Visual Studio 2008 or later
- IIS (Internet Information Server)
- (Dreamweaver or other FTP enabled HTML editor)
Database
- SQL Server Standard Edition
